growing up I've always been surrounded by different communities done being church family and school I am very appreciative of all of the people in them and I would not be who I am today without them 2019 Expressions project I decided that instead of being up on the stage singing for all of you I would want to ask some people in my life one question if you can describe yourself in one word what would it be and here are there answer Cary Grant Adventure Branson MO passionate affirmative empathetic chosen free Toys R Us grateful sensitive afraid functional determined stinky boot game some people ask me if the word had to be positive and I chose to say no because then they wouldn't be authentic and will be faking it for my project this find that we are surrounded by a variety of different personalities and people I think we have built such a strong sense of community here at UVA and I am excited to see what the future holds I think it will for these past few memorable years it has been everything I hoped for and I can go out into the world confident about who I am and what I stand for you all of help me whether that being giving me advice when I needed it making me laugh or simply giving me hugs on back dates this is me this is us and this is you thank you
